It's been an incredible month of God's provision! I've seen a significant increase in my monthly support, from 80% to FULLY SUPPORTED! Thank you so much to my partners in the Gospel, both prayer and finances! The mission board gave me the green light to purchase my plane ticket. My official departure date is set for March 3rd, 2025! My first-term expenses percentage has also significantly risen, from 46% to a remarkable 87%, largely due to a generous gift from my sending church. I am thankful for their unwavering support! I am also grateful to those of you who have also given toward this goal. It is so encouraging to have you partnering with me! I was blessed to spend a Sunday at my home church on August 4th, a time of worship and fellowship that was truly refreshing and encouraging. Aside from this Sunday at home, I've had the opportunity to visit six churches since my last prayer letter. One of the highlights was bringing two young women interested in missions to a church in Ohio. They had firsthand experience of the 'behind the scenes' of deputation meetings, which I hope was a valuable experience for them. It was a joy to spend time with these two friends. On a note of prayer, I have been dealing with a chronic condition in my spine for several years that has flared recently. I have spoken with my doctor, and we are making a plan to manage the condition. Lord willing, I will soon begin physical therapy. I am thankful for God's timing, as I still have seven months before I leave for Romania. Prayerfully, I will gain tools to help me manage the condition overseas. Please pray for the pain to lessen as it makes daily life and extended driving difficult. Next month, I have presentations scheduled in Columbus, Findlay, Salem, Akron, and Canton. The church in Columbus is very close by and has been a supporting church since my short-term service in Romania. The church pastor was on staff at my sending church for many years, but I have not met the church family yet. I am looking forward to meeting these precious partners face-to-face! News From RomaniaThe Back to School Festival, our final big event of the Summer in Luncsoara, is a fun-filled day. With many kids attending school sporadically or not at all, this Festival is a great way to encourage regular school attendance and spark excitement for the new school year. We have a range of games, some with an educational twist and others purely for fun. We also provide snacks and packets of school and hygiene supplies for each child still in school. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with parents who do not attend church. Please pray for the team as they prepare for the upcoming Festival, the children who come to be encouraged to attend school, and the parents to make good relationships with the church so that we may have the opportunity to share the Gospel.
